Disclaimer: Before beginning any exercise program, it is important that you get a complete physical from your physician, especially if you are over the age of 35, have any pre-existing heart condition, diabetes, high blood pressure, blood clotting problems, anemia, hernias, joint problems, back problems, a family history of sudden death at a young age, if you smoke, if you are overweight, if you are pregnant, and if you haven’t exercised in a while (or ever). If you feel any dizziness, chest pain or discomfort, numbness, excessive fatigue or shortness of breath, pain or other severe discomfort while exercising, stop the exercise immediately and call a physician.
